I've always been a big fan of the TED talks you can watch online. Little did I know, that people could independently organize their own TED events. That is, until my boss, Marty Fisher, at Sherpa Marketing (sherpamarketing.ca) and a bunch of his contacts started to organize their own for the city of Winnipeg (tedxwinnipeg.ca) Which is great for me, because he lets me design a lot of the marketing materials, including these posters! As some of you may know, poster design is what I grove on, and I jump at the chance to do them whenever the opportunity arrives. And in this case, Marty was a great client, because he trusted my opinion, gave little direction, and just let me do my thing. I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

Let me stand next to your fire!

Recently, I had the opportunity to design a poster for a tribute show to Jimi Hendrix which would have coincided with the legend's 67th birthday.
The event was organized by 92 citi fm's Howard Mandshein, with my friend Kirby Cote. It was very successful, and a lot of money was raised to benefit the Boston Terrier and Pug Rescue of Southern Manitoba, as well as the Christmas Cheer Board.
The event featured the bands Feng Shui, All Seasons Express, Astronaut Jones & the Dirty Sweethearts, and Voodoo Children.
